Cambodia National Mekong Committee as called ααααα or CNMC is a governmental institution operating under direct supervision of Royal Government of Cambodia has main mission for coordination in management, protection, conservation and development of water and other related resources in the Mekong River basin.
The Goal of CNMC is to encourage all circles for their attention to maintain and strengthen good cooperation in Mekong context with good Mekong spirit to meet better collaboration and improving effectiveness of management and development of Mekong River in Cambodian and regional context for sustainability at present and for future which are the aims of Cambodia and other member countries of the Lower Mekong Basin.
CNMC is the same as other National Mekong Committees of Member countries plays crucial roles in coordinating in respective framework for effective implementation of 1995 Mekong Agreement and preparation and implementation of other related projects and programmes of Mekong River Commission (MRC) in the Sustainable Development Framework of water and related resources in the Mekong River Basin.
The Sustainable development programmes of water and related resources of MRC are cooperative programmes that supported by development partners for mainly implementation of 13 project and programmes including:
